Vincent Mahé is a French illustrator whose work is deeply rooted in the Franco-Belgian tradition of ligne claire (clear line). Drawing inspiration from both urban architecture and natural landscapes, his work often conveys the fact that his head is in the city, whilst his heart in the wild.
His compositions are built with precision, whilst also imbuing vibrant, human feelings. Inspired by the elegant restraint of Japanese woodblock prints, Vincent believes in doing more with less: fewer lines, fewer colours, but always the right ones.
He has worked with leading global brands including Apple, Google, Facebook, Kenzo, Rimowa, and Guerlain, and regularly illustrates for international publications like The New Yorker and The New York Times.
