Corinthia are known for their decadent style - the luxury boutique hotel in central London being no exception. Behind the grand facade and between members of high-society and celebrities alike, their bi-annual magazine ‘The Column’ graces the central lobby, vibrant bars and elegant cafes.
Their summer edition of the Column “Hats off to Society Season” celebrates the orgins, energy and excitement of London’s society scene, with Corinthia perfectly placed for prime people watching.
We made a visit to the hotel to see Emily’s cover and interior illustrations for the new edition, and of course enjoy a cup of English breakfast tea in the cafe. With a few major celebrity sightings in toe - the magazine was the shining jewel of the space.
A busy scene of societies in St James’ park graced the cover, with vbirant hues transporting us to sunny days. Inside are more quintessential scenes of the classical Corinthia entrance steps and more origins of the season. The Goodwood Estate in West Sussex, home to horseracing and motoring events, the Polo , Wimbledon and a Picnic in the park.
Emily's sun-drenched watercolours feel entirely at home amongst the grandeur of Corinthia.. If you find yourself passing through Corinthia London this season, do take a moment to pick up a copy. Between the high tea, the people-watching, and the pages of The Column, it certainly would be a grand day out.
