There's a lot to love about ticket provider the Trainline’s “I came by train” campaign, which was set up to reshape how people travel to Glastonbury, with transport making up 70% of the festival’s carbon footprint.
This year, swapping the car for the train wasn't just greener choice, it also gave festival goers access to one of the festivals must have fashion items - the Luke McConkey designed Glastonbury x Trainline tote bag!
Luke was brought on track to create a vibrant festival scene, welcoming travellers on their journey and championing an eco-conscious message. He also contributed to a short film launching the campaign, a mission this nature-loving creative delivered with his usual vibrant energy.
It was such a pleasure to work on an illustration that encouraged getting to the festival in the most sustainable way possible. Caring for this big blue and green ball we live on is important to me, so having the chance to help shine a light on ways we can do that, while enjoying the best festival in the world, was truly an honour.
