Architecture and branding go hand-in-hand especially when the project is ultimately requires commercial appeal, for example a new apartment building or housing development. Creating, visualising and fostering a sense of neighbourhood branding is an important element in creating desire for the properties amongst and piquing interest in potential future residents.

Branding a destination, such as a famous neighbourhood, park, museum or street can be visualised with eye-catching maps, building sketches, stylised features. Whatever style suits the location, neighbourhood map branding immediately communicates to the viewer what they can expect to find. Illustrations can also assist with way-finding in a more visually appealing way compared to generic maps and signs.

Place branding can also go together with the branding of individual entities such as retailers with a presence in a shopping mall, or independent wineries in a wine region. Unlike a general reference or topographic map that might be used by visitors to a destination, a custom illustrated map and brand assets add to the memorability of experience and can also provide a nice memento or keepsake.
