Steeped in history and situated in the heart of Belgravia, The Pembroke is a new members' club opening in Spring 2026. Conceived as a House of Multitudes, it brings together a rich mix of dining, social and cultural experiences under one roof.
In the summer of 2025, London agency Everything In Between approached Raxenne Maniquiz with a brief unlike any other: to create a monumental, richly detailed cross-section of the entire Pembroke building. Rather than simply illustrating the interiors, the artwork would capture the spirit of the club through a tapestry of interconnected scenes, blending architecture, landscape and figurative storytelling into one expansive surreal world.
Inspired by Hieronymus Bosch's 'The Garden of Earthly Delights', the ambition was to create an image that continues reveals itself over time. Every room would contain its own distinct cast of characters and visual stories, encouraging viewers to linger, explore and discover new details with every encounter.

Everything In Between saw Raxenne's vibrant and maximalist visual language as the perfect fit for the project. Through her experience illustrating birds and animals of the world, she was trusted with the ability to create surreal and anthropomorphic characters, and duly delivered.
Combined with Raxennes exuberant use of colour, her intricate compositions brought the club to life through a surreal troupe of elegantly dressed animals, mythical figures and playful visual metaphors. Throughout the illustration, lions, crows and other recurring characters drift between spaces in moments of lively conversation and theatrical spectacle.
As the illustration neared completion, our trusted animation partner Vânǎ joined the project to bring Raxenne's intricate world to life. Led by Anca, the team's exceptional craftsmanship, creativity and infectious enthusiasm transformed the static artwork into a captivating animated experience, for The Pembroke's homepage and social channels.

The illustration is a key component of the Pembroke's visual identity, with individual scenes, characters and motifs to be used across the club's branding. Cropped details appear throughout printed collateral, menus, membership packs, playing cards, digital platforms and environmental graphics, while the complete illustration takes pride of place in the Pembroke's lobby.
