Some briefs ask you to make something beautiful. Others ask you to tell a story. This one wanted both. Working with Skittles, Zoë created a playful illustrated map of London celebrating ‘Chosen Families’ - spotlighting the people, places and moments that have shaped LGBTQ+ history across the city.
Zoë developed a series of individual illustrations for each featured location, giving every story its own visual identity while keeping the whole composition connected through a bright, hand-sketched palette. The result is a guide that encourages curiosity, celebrates community, and Zoë dialled up the rainbow with bold, vibrant colours whilst keeping to her unmistakable pencil style.
The map was tastefully animated by London agencyFreuds, and rolled out on Skittles dedicated microsite and social media channels. Special thanks to their creative team for their direction and enthusiasm on such a colourful project.
